On November 17, 2013, guests gathered in the historic merchants' hall in Freiburg to honor Sauli Niinistö with the International Prize of the Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Stiftung and Dorothea Siems with the Publishing Prize of the Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Stiftung. The event reflected in particular on the challenges of European integration and the search for solutions in line with Hayek's economic principles.
